Dr. Sylvia — a licensed clinical pharmacist and a graduate of Formula Botanica (an accredited organic and natural skincare school in the U.K.). Her training includes certifications in Natural Cosmetic Preservation and Cosmetic Stability Testing, Diplomas in Organic Skincare Formulation and Advanced Organic Cosmetic Science, Beauty Brand Business Management, and IPCS' Certificate in Cosmetic Regulatory Essentials.

Yes. Formulations go through cosmetic stability testing and are preserved according to certified natural cosmetic preservation practices, so they hold up safely over their shelf life rather than relying on guesswork.

Many of our products — including our Lipid Veil Barrier Repair Oil, Turmeric Cleansing Cream and ceramide-based formulas — are built specifically for barrier support and sensitivity. If you have known allergies or a reactive skin history, we recommend a patch test before full use. Test the product behind your ear or on elbow and conduct a 24 hour observation. 

Discontinue use and reach out to us directly — as the formulator, Dr. Sylvia can help you understand what may have caused the reaction and recommend a better-suited alternative from the line or direct referral to your provider. 

Glow Curious is a gentle reset for sensitive or beginner skin. Glow Serious targets dullness, congestion, and uneven tone. Glow Glorious is a deeper-nourishment system for mature or dry skin. All three use the same low-irritancy philosophy, so it's about matching the kit to where your skin is right now.

Yes. Every product across all three kits is formulated to be interchangeable, so you can build a routine that fits your skin as it changes rather than being locked into one kit.

Yes — our education-only tier is $39 every 3 months ($29 at events) and gives you access to the growing course library without the product perks. Your rate locks in at whatever price you joined at, for as long as you stay subscribed.

Glow Society VIP is a recurring membership. Your membership will automatically renew according to the billing frequency selected when you joined unless you cancel before your next scheduled renewal date.

You are always welcome to cancel your membership at any time. We do not want you to continue being charged simply because you forgot about your membership or are no longer actively using your benefits.

To avoid your next renewal charge, please cancel your membership before your upcoming billing date. Once cancellation is completed, no future recurring membership charges will be processed. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund once charged. Failure to use your membership benefits does not automatically cancel the membership.

If you cancel your membership and later decide to rejoin, your previous member rate may no longer be available. You would rejoin at the membership rate being offered at that time.

Cancellation does not affect your ability to shop with Sylvia’s Artistry as a regular customer.

Yes. Our custom formulation service builds a product from scratch based on a short questionnaire and consultation, priced between $100–$300 depending on complexity. Because each one is formulated individually, the process takes a few weeks and slots are limited each month.

Simple tweaks (like a fragrance or ingredient swap on an existing formula) are a lighter-touch option compared to a full from-scratch formulation, and are available as a Glow Collective VIP perk.
